Half of all Canadians will either need blood or know someone who will need blood at some point in their lives. Yet only 4% of Canadians donate. Your donation can treat cancer patients, bring a car crash victim through surgery, and even help a transplant patient’s new heart beat for the first time. About 100,000 new donors are needed every year to meet demand. Right now, somewhere in Canada, someone needs a blood transfusion to survive. You have the power to give them life.
