My name is Jana sharaby and I’m blessed to be apart of the AYA team! I strive to give back to my community in any way I can. AYA provides me with a unique way to serve my community while simultaneously serving my beliefs and values. I love spending my free time outdoors, meeting new people and trying new creative projects.
Favorite Ayah
My favourite ayah in the Quran is: “Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear…” (Quran 2:286). This ayah comforts me because it reminds me that no matter how overwhelming something may feel, Allah knows my limits better than I do and will never leave me alone in hardship. It reminds me to not underestimate myself and reassures me that there’s always a way forward.
